Desktop Lockdown

Desktop Lockdown
What is it

Desktop Lockdown is a new product we are currently developing to "lock down" your Windows desktop machine.

How it works

Instead of maintaining virus definitions, we do the opposite!

Desktop Lockdown creates a whitelist of all known applications currently on your machine and does not allow any new applications to be executed unless you explicitly allow it.

You can easily switch modes, so you can be secure when browsing the internet, but also disable the tool when you are installing or upgrading an application.

Desktop Lockdown is especially ideal for securing systems where one or a few specific applications are used e.g. kiosk or POS systems.

Securing Windows XP after 8th April 2014

The end of support for Windows XP means no longer security patches for that operating system. So we are currently developing a product that can make Windows XP immune to new and unknown viruses and other malware.
